A contract opportunity is open for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) to work with K-8 students. This hybrid role requires a mix of on-campus and remote work, based near Schertz, TX. The position lasts from August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027, and is ideal for those seeking full-time hours with dedicated, diverse caseload experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision for SLP-Assistants, including on-campus presence at least 2 days weekly.
- Build collaborative relationships with campus administrators and faculty.
- Manage, evaluate, and case-manage a caseload of approximately 110 students across K-8 (elementary and middle school age range).
- Ensure SLP-A is delivering appropriate therapy and support.
- Complete assessments and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
- Balance in-person and remote tasks, with flexibility around schedules once rapport is built.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP licensure from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
- ASHA certification preferred if supervision hours are logged.
- Bilingual skills welcome, but monolingual candidates encouraged to apply.
- Previous school-based SLP experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on-site at least two days per week for direct supervision and testing.
- Willingness to participate in prescreen interviews and provide references.
