Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Boulder City, NV
Exciting opportunities await for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a dynamic contract role in a vibrant K–12 educational setting. Based just outside Boulder City, you’ll have a chance to make a difference in the lives of students from August 1 through May 31, 2027. With growth in student needs and evolving teams, two positions are currently available to support a diverse group of learners.
As a valued professional, you will work a stable full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Caseloads are capped at 55 students to ensure both quality of care and effective collaboration. This role is strictly in-person, providing the direct engagement and support essential to student progress.
Candidates with experience or credentials in clinical fellowships, healthcare, pediatrics, and school-based SLP are encouraged to bring their expertise to this thriving community. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are actively pursuing your license, your skills will be embraced and valued.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Nevada SLP license (or eligibility to secure licensure before starting)
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings (including CFY status)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to supporting K–12 students’ diverse speech and language needs
- Desire to work on-site and contribute fully to a school community
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing assessment, intervention, and ongoing therapy to students within the caseload cap
- Working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Upholding best practices for documentation, progress tracking, and compliance
