You’ll play a key role in helping students from early childhood special education (ECSE) through 1st grade to develop vital articulation, language, and pragmatic communication skills. This contract runs from August 19, 2026 through May 14, 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting impact while advancing your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Open to strong SLPAs and Clinical Fellows
- Experience or willingness to work with children ages 3 through first grade
- Ability to support a caseload of 35-40 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs (articulation, language, pragmatic skills)
- Develop individualized therapy plans and documentation to track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals for student success
- Supervise one SLPA, if needed (note: cannot supervise more than one)
- Engage in IEP meetings and complete relevant assessments and paperwork in a timely manner
