Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Stockdale, TX
Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based environment. This contract opportunity spans the 2026–2027 academic year, allowing you to make a meaningful impact from August through May. Providing both supervision and direct therapy, you’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated SLPA while managing a caseload that will both engage and inspire your clinical expertise.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas is required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
- Experience in pediatrics and evidence of effective school-based practice highly valued
- Ability to provide both direct therapy and supervision to support staff and students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and professional standards
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and a supportive SLPA to provide holistic, student-centered care
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and updates regarding student progress
- Offer supervision and mentorship for Clinical Fellows (if applicable), fostering skill development in emerging professionals
