Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in South Royalton, VT

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at the Regional Resource Center, you will be at the heart of a fully integrated program, collaborating closely with educators, therapists, and vocational staff to foster communication across classroom, workplace, and community environments.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences or related field with SLP graduate coursework and clinical experience
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), eligibility for ASHA certification, or ready to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Vermont Clinical SLP License and Vermont Educational SLP Endorsement
- Skilled in pediatric and school-based speech therapy, including AAC and assistive technology
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities across interdisciplinary teams
- Experience or interest in teletherapy a plus
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Embed communication and language goals throughout academic, vocational, and daily living lessons in partnership with special education teachers
- Deliver explicit instruction, model language, and facilitate peer interaction in both structured and unstructured settings
- Implement AAC, visual supports, and technology daily to promote access and independence
- Guide and collaborate on the development of visual supports for learning and life skills
- Support generalization of communication skills through community-based instruction and real-world experiences
- Develop and monitor IEPs, conduct evaluations, and provide direct individual or small-group services
- Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and consult with families and external agencies
- Maintain timely, compliant documentation and manage communication devices and therapy tools
