Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Somerville, Massachusetts

This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a speech-language pathologist with expertise in school-based and pediatric settings, particularly with children on the autism spectrum. Work closely with a small group of 6-8 PreK students in a supportive team environment, helping them achieve critical early developmental milestones.
Schedule: Staff hours are 7:45 am to 1:30 pm, with students attending from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, allowing for focused, concentrated service delivery and planning. You’ll be working alongside dedicated professionals in a structured ASD PreK classroom, providing direct and consultative support.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP state licensure/certification as required
- Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with early childhood development and working with students on the autism spectrum
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication therapy for PreK students
- Assess, plan, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning approaches
- Contribute to IEP meetings and goal setting
- Provide both group and individual interventions tailored to student needs
