Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Cambridge, Massachusetts

The typical day begins at 7:45 am, concluding at 1:30 pm, with student instruction from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Working onsite in a collaborative educational environment, you’ll apply your expertise to help children achieve meaningful milestones.
Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Massachusetts SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY applicants welcome)
- Pediatric experience, particularly in school-based or PreK settings
- Familiarity with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) interventions or willingness to learn
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs in accordance with IEPs
- Plan and deliver evidence-based therapy to small PreK groups and individualized sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student progress
- Contribute to team meetings, IEP development, evaluations, and reporting
- Provide guidance and strategies for classroom support staff
