School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Fall River, Massachusetts

This full-time, in-person opportunity is designed for an SLP Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) who is passionate about fostering student success across diverse needs.
Your background includes at least 2–3 years of post-ASHA certification experience, and you thrive in educational settings. You’ll make a difference for students—and support fellow practitioners eager to grow—by supervising up to three SLPAs. Each SLPA may manage up to 55 cases, offering opportunities to mentor, provide guidance, and ensure quality interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- ASHA SLP-CCC certified, with a minimum of 2–3 years of post-certification experience
- Practical knowledge of school-based speech/language services
- Willingness and ability to supervise up to three SLPAs managing dynamic caseloads
- Skilled in adapting to varied communication needs across the school-age spectrum
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Oversee treatment plans, data collection, progress reports, and documentation completed by SLPAs
- Conduct and present Special Education eligibility evaluations, both initial and re-evaluations
- Attend IEP meetings to provide recommendations and advocate for student needs
- Develop, write, and update IEPs based on current assessment data and student progress
- Adapt efficiently to changing caseloads as enrollment and student requirements shift
