Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current ASHA SLP Certification (CCC) with at least 2-3 years of post-certification experience.
- Solid background in school-based speech-language pathology practice.
- Comprehensive understanding of a range of communication needs in children.
- Previous experience or eagerness to supervise SLPAs; able to manage and guide up to three SLPAs, each with sizable caseloads.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the work of up to 3 SLPAs, providing support with treatment planning, progress reporting, and data collection for a collective caseload.
- Conduct comprehensive Special Education Eligibility Evaluations (including both initial and re-evaluations).
- Participate in all IEP meetings—initials, reevaluations, and annuals—presenting data and making informed recommendations.
- Develop, write, and update IEPs for all students on your caseload as their needs evolve.
- Adapt efficiently to caseload fluctuations based on student enrollment and needs.
