What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Wisconsin SLP license and DPI credentials, or eligibility to obtain these before starting
- Background check and fingerprinting clearance (required before your start date)
- Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory
- Skills in pediatric speech therapy, healthcare-based SLP, SLP-CFY, CCC, and teletherapy are highly valued
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and provide individualized therapy for K–12 students
- Create and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and families
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication and learning goals
- Participate in paid indirect hours—attend team meetings, handle documentation, and administrative tasks as part of your workweek
