Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but those with strong clinical fellowships are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with a range of communication disorders, especially articulation and language
- Comfortable working with students on the autism spectrum
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will be highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Caseload management for approximately 30 students in grades 4K-8, with a focus on articulation, language, and students with autism spectrum disorder
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop evidence-based, individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, tailoring interventions to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with required documentation and reporting standards
