Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in a school setting with varied age groups (preschool to middle school)
- Proficiency in supporting diverse communication needs, including articulation and receptive/expressive language
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and relevant interventions
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach with educators, families, and support staff
- Bilingual skills are a plus and highly welcomed
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services, targeting articulation and language objectives
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and families to support student growth
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to each student's strengths and needs
- Maintain compliance with school policies and professional standards
- Provide expertise on communication strategies and classroom modifications
