Key Qualifications:
- Current license/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong background in assessment and intervention for articulation and language
- Familiarity with supporting students on the autism spectrum
- Ability to collaborate well with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Bilingual abilities are a significant advantage
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students from early childhood (4K) through 8th grade
- Perform assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and regularly report results to both staff and families
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop strategies that encourage student participation and development
- Support a positive, inclusive environment for all learners
- Engage in ongoing professional development
