What we’re looking for:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum 2-3 years post-certification experience, preferably in a school setting
- Comfort supervising up to three SLP Assistants, each with robust caseloads
- Strong communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills
- In-depth knowledge of special education processes, IEP procedures, and eligibility assessments
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and supporting up to three SLPAs, providing guidance for treatment planning, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Conducting and interpreting special education evaluations for both initial and re-evaluations
- Participating in all IEP meetings (initials, re-evals, annuals), sharing evaluation findings, and offering actionable recommendations
- Writing and updating IEPs for students on your caseload, ensuring documentation meets standards and supports student growth
- Adapting to caseload changes driven by enrollment and evolving student needs
