School Speech Language Pathologist - Attleboro, Massachusetts

Bring your expertise and leadership to a contract assignment where you'll work with a range of students, contribute to individualized education planning, and foster a collaborative atmosphere. Your knowledge gained from at least 2-3 years of post-ASHA SLP certification experience in schools will be highly valued as you oversee and guide up to three SLP Assistants, ensuring high-quality service delivery for a robust, yet manageable, combined caseload.
Key qualifications and experience:
- ASHA SLP - CCC certification with a minimum of 2-3 years' post-certification experience
- Prior involvement in K-12 public school settings
- Demonstrated success addressing a variety of communication impairments
- Confident experience with supervision and mentoring of SLPAs
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Primary responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Provide oversight and supervision, supporting up to three SLP Assistants across caseloads of varying complexity
- Conduct and present Special Education eligibility evaluations (Initial and Re-evaluations)
- Attend and actively participate in all IEP meetings, sharing your professional input and recommendations
- Write, update, and maintain IEPs; monitor student progress across changing caseloads
- Adapt to fluctuations in caseload numbers as needs and enrollment evolve
