Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students’ communication growth and academic achievement. Multiple openings are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in a well-respected educational setting serving a diverse student population from preschool through high school.
Details:
- Elementary SLPs: Two full-time opportunities working with 1st–5th graders from August 25, 2026, to approximately November 13, 2026. Both in-person and virtual SLPs will be considered for these roles.
- Middle & High School SLP: Cover grades 6–12 across two buildings from November 6, 2026, to approximately February 17, 2026. Virtual SLPs are welcome to apply. This leave aligns well if you have completed an earlier assignment.
- Preschool SLP: Support ages 3–4 from August 25, 2026, through October 16, 2026. On-site professionals only.
- Kindergarten SLP: Primarily an Autism caseload from August 25, 2026, to November 13, 2026. In-person availability required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children and/or early childhood populations
- Familiarity with IEP process, progress monitoring, and collaborative consultation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with technology; experience with virtual service delivery a plus (for virtual roles)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Document progress and maintain compliant records
- Support inclusive practices and foster student engagement
