School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Middletown, Delaware

This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time onsite, engaging with students who have a wide range of communication needs. Starting as soon as possible, you'll be able to continue your work into Extended School Year (ESY) with a slightly adjusted schedule and potentially through the 2026–2027 school year.
You’ll be part of a dedicated team focused on providing services primarily for Pre-K and elementary students, with the possibility of working with individuals up to age 22. Expect a dynamic caseload in a SPED setting where many students have Autism or varied functional abilities, allowing you to hone your clinical skills and truly make a difference.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Familiarity or willingness to work with students who have Autism and other developmental differences
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students onsite
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide support and strategies for generalization of skills across school settings
