School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Smyrna, Delaware

This full-time, contract opportunity calls for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) or Clinical Fellows (CFY) to work onsite in a supportive environment. With three positions available, you could work with early learners in preschool and elementary, as well as older students up to 22 years of age. The school specializes in serving students with autism and mid-to-low functioning needs, providing you the chance to gain deep, meaningful experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Current SLP licensure in Delaware (or eligibility for licensure)
- Open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Passion for working with students on the autism spectrum and those with significant developmental differences
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work onsite full time (37.5 hours per week during the school year, 30 hours weekly during ESY)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a school SPED setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse caseload
- Document student progress and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students’ integration and participation in school activities
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on speech and communication needs
