Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current, active Delaware SLP license
- Prior experience working in school settings is strongly preferred
- Expertise supporting elementary-aged children, including those on the autism spectrum
- Skilled at developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
- Comfortable working onsite, providing group and individual therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services for a split elementary caseload (traditional and autism support)
- Assess students’ communication abilities and create targeted treatment goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school policies
- Consult and collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and support teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise regarding student progress
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students on your caseload
