Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and language development in schools located near Dover, DE. Currently, several Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) roles are open for the upcoming academic year, ranging across grade levels and caseloads. Flexible options are available for both in-person and virtual placements depending on the assignment.
Available Opportunities:
- Two full-time SLPs needed for elementary caseloads (1st-5th grade). Contracts run August 25, 2026, through approximately November 13, 2026. Virtual and in-person candidates may apply.
- One full-time SLP working across middle and high schools (6th-12th grade), shared between two buildings. Contract runs November 6, 2026, through approximately February 17, 2027. Virtual and in-person applicants welcome; placement can follow an August start leave.
- One full-time preschool SLP to support a caseload of children aged 3-4 years. Assignment is in-person only from August 25, 2026, through approximately October 16, 2026.
- One full-time Kindergarten SLP focusing on an Autism caseload, in-person only, from August 25, 2026, through approximately November 13, 2026.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license for the state of Delaware (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team recommendations
- Track and report student progress
