Exciting contract opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a lasting impact in educational settings. We are seeking multiple full-time SLPs to support students across varying grade levels for the 2026-2027 school year near Newark, DE. Available Assignments:
- Two elementary school roles (1st-5th grade), full-time from late August to mid-November. Candidates may be considered for virtual or in-person services.
- One opening covering middle and high school caseloads (grades 6-12), full-time from November through mid-February, with service split between two buildings. Virtual options are available and this position can follow directly after a fall contract.
- One full-time preschool position (ages 3-4), starting late August through mid-October, in-person only.
- One kindergarten position (primarily Autism caseload), starting late August through mid-November, in-person only.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility) required
- Prior experience working with school-age children preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Adaptability to virtual platforms for teletherapy assignments
- Commitment to fostering positive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students on assigned caseloads
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
