School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Newark, Delaware

Positions available:
- Elementary SLPs (2 spots): Work with 1st-5th grade students from August 25, 2026, through November 13, 2026. Virtual applicants welcome.
- Middle/High School SLP: Cover grades 6-12, serving two buildings, November 6, 2026, through February 17, 2026. This position can directly follow an elementary leave for contract extension. Virtual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Preschool SLP: Focus on preschoolers aged 3-4, August 25, 2026, through October 16, 2026. In-person only.
- Kindergarten SLP: Support a primarily autism-focused caseload, August 25, 2026, through November 13, 2026. In-person required.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP state licensure (or eligibility) and ASHA certification
- Experience with pediatric/school-aged populations
- Ability to adapt communication and therapy strategies for different age groups and abilities
- Strong documentation and collaboration skills
- For virtual roles: prior teletherapy experience preferred and reliable technology setup
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and deliver individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with educators and families
- Maintain detailed progress notes and case documentation
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to specific caseloads
