Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure, or eligibility for appropriate credentials
- Previous experience in school-based speech therapy or a strong interest in working with school-aged children
- Skilled in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and delivering therapy in accordance with best practices
- Excellent communication, collaborative, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate daily with teachers, other therapists, and families to maximize student support
- Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services, using creative methods to engage learners
- Document student progress and prepare detailed reports for parents and school teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations that shape student success
- Support overall school initiatives for inclusive education and accessible learning
