School Speech Language Pathologist - Waterloo, NY

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) OR Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility)
- School-based experience or strong desire to work with children and adolescents
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted therapy goals
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring, maintaining detailed documentation of student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student success
- Provide direct therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
- Offer consultative support to teachers and families to promote carryover of skills into classroom and home environments
