Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in Louisiana
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations, early childhood, or elementary-aged students
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP process and school-based documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students in grades K–12
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress reports
- Adapt therapy approaches based on student needs and feedback
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
