Essential Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings (early childhood and elementary school focus is a plus)
- Ability to manage varying caseloads and adapt to students’ unique needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for K–12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, teachers, and administrators
- Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
