Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite position, beginning in August 2027, offers the chance to engage with a diverse caseload of up to 65 students while working full-time—37.5 hours each week. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families, commuting between one or two local schools to provide essential speech and language services.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered.
- Experience providing SLP services in school settings strongly preferred.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Effective communicator with staff, students, and families.
- Organizational skills to manage caseload across multiple campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in grades Pre-K through 8th.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student growth and learning.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
- Travel between 1-2 school sites as needed to serve students.
