Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Camarillo, CA
Make a meaningful impact in education by working as a Bilingual (Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting for the upcoming 25/26 academic year. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity, providing services across 37.5 hours per week to support up to 65 students ranging from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade. You’ll travel between one to two schools, leveraging your skills to foster communication development and academic progress.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Experience working with students in prek–8th grades highly preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and caseload management ability
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for commuting between sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Travel between designated school sites as needed within the workweek
