Elementary Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Bossier City, LA

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (or ability to obtain)
- Background in pediatrics, early childhood, and elementary school settings is preferred
- Experience with diverse student populations, including those with a range of communication and developmental needs
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students K–12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, adapting approaches to fit various student abilities and needs
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Consult with families, teachers, and staff to support student success, providing resources and strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and school professional development
