Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility) for practice in Louisiana
- Initial experience or an interest in pediatric and early childhood speech-language therapy; experience within school settings is highly valued
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, school administrators, and families
- Strong commitment to differentiation and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students K–12
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans and interventions
- Maintain up-to-date records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student-centered plans
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists to maximize therapy outcomes
