Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one before start date
  • Experience or training in pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Prior experience in school-based or teletherapy settings is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop IEPs and work collaboratively with education teams and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessment and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders for school-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student learning outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation of progress and comply with all state and federal guidelines for school-based services
  • Provide therapy in-person and/or via teletherapy platforms as arranged by the district
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
