Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Shelton, Washington

Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one before start date
- Experience or training in pediatric speech and language disorders
- Prior experience in school-based or teletherapy settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to develop IEPs and work collaboratively with education teams and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessment and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders for school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student learning outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation of progress and comply with all state and federal guidelines for school-based services
- Provide therapy in-person and/or via teletherapy platforms as arranged by the district
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
