Your qualifications and experience might include:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in Washington
- Background working with pediatric clients, preferably within school or healthcare systems
- Familiarity with a variety of service delivery models, including teletherapy and on-site support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; skilled at collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Expect to embrace a range of engaging responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ communication and speech disorders using standardized tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy, both virtually and in person
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with school guidelines
- Engage in IEP meetings, collaborating to ensure each student’s needs are met
- Educate and empower school staff and families to support students’ progress
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and teletherapy technologies
