Your qualifications and experience might include:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in Washington
  • Background working with pediatric clients, preferably within school or healthcare systems
  • Familiarity with a variety of service delivery models, including teletherapy and on-site support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; skilled at collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Expect to embrace a range of engaging responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ communication and speech disorders using standardized tools
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy, both virtually and in person
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with school guidelines
  • Engage in IEP meetings, collaborating to ensure each student’s needs are met
  • Educate and empower school staff and families to support students’ progress
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and teletherapy technologies
