Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; clinical fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings appreciated, but not required
- Skilled in a variety of service delivery models, including individual, group, and teletherapy sessions
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Compassionate, patient, and creative in developing therapy plans tailored to students’ unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
- Design and implement evidence-based therapy plans customized for students’ IEP goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, families, and specialists to maximize student progress and participation
- Deliver services both onsite and via secure teletherapy platforms, as appropriate
- Support students across various educational settings, adapting strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
