Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Rochester, Washington

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience working in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings preferred
- Experience with or interest in teletherapy practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop customized treatment plans for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions in both face-to-face and virtual formats
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Offer consultation and support to classroom teachers and staff on strategies for supporting students’ communication development
- Stay current with best practices and professional standards in pediatric speech-language pathology
