SLPs in this role will collaborate with teams serving caseloads of approximately 50 students, potentially from pre-kindergarten through age 22. The specific location and age group assigned may vary based on district needs.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Valid Washington SLP license and ESA certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Confidence in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for a range of communication disorders
- Comfort working with a varied caseload that may include students from preschool through young adults
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services and collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and report progress
- Support students’ communication goals to foster classroom success
