This role serves a diverse caseload, primarily consisting of bilingual Spanish-speaking students from early childhood through 8th grade, with an estimated 10-15 bilingual students. Additionally, the caseload will include monolingual students, with total caseload size dependent on part-time or full-time status. Full-time caseloads typically range between 40-45 students, with a maximum unlikely to exceed 50.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to bilingual (Spanish) and monolingual students.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders across early childhood to 8th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication outcomes.
- Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for pediatric populations.
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize student needs effectively.
