Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFs considered
- Experience in school settings or working with children/adolescents is a plus
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for varied learning styles
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators, families, and other specialists
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services across a range of grade levels
- Document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff development opportunities
- Foster an inclusive learning atmosphere, advocating for students’ communication needs
