Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though clinical fellows (CFs) are considered
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and document progress effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions—both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide staff and family education as needed
