Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though clinical fellows (CFs) are considered
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and document progress effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions—both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide staff and family education as needed
