Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFY candidates are considered
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver engaging therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to implement classroom strategies supporting communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance, support, and resources to students, families, and staff regarding speech and language development
