Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFY candidates are considered
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Deliver engaging therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to implement classroom strategies supporting communication goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide guidance, support, and resources to students, families, and staff regarding speech and language development
  • Stay updated with best practices through professional development
