Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Cumming, GA

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric populations, ideally within school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices and technology
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders using standardized assessments and other tools
- Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and academic goals
- Provide therapy services in person and via teletherapy platforms, as appropriate
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to achieve outcomes
- Document services provided and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Offer guidance and training to paraprofessionals and support personnel
