Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Cumming, Georgia

Desired Background and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility/CFY status
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting working with pediatric populations
- Proficiency or training in teletherapy delivery methods and related technology
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and documentation abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, both in person and via teletherapy platforms
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely progress reports and documentation in accordance with regulations
- Support school-wide initiatives around communication and language development
