Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds or eligible for Speech-Language Pathologist-Clinical Certificate of Competence (SLP-CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CFY)
- Appropriate state licensure for practice
- Prior experience with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Teletherapy experience is a plus
- Ability to create and carry out individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific treatment goals
- Provide speech and language therapy—either in person or virtually—as determined by student needs
- Educate and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support progress
- Document therapies, progress, and updates in compliance with school standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to team efforts
