Exciting opportunity available for a Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make an impact with elementary-aged students throughout the full academic year, ending June 16th. This contract position supports a vibrant, collaborative school environment near Medical Lake, WA, serving a diverse population approaching 600 learners.

Collaborate with a dedicated team, including two fellow SLPs, across specialized Autism/IDD classrooms and three preschool settings. You'll have the opportunity to work hands-on with students, support communication growth, and make a tangible difference every day.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current or eligibility for Washington SLP licensure (or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates)
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric, elementary, preschool, and/or Autism/IDD populations
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms beneficial
  • SLPAs with relevant school-based or healthcare experience encouraged to apply
  • Skilled at IEP development, progress tracking, and collaborative goal setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy and assessment to students in preschool through elementary grades
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and deliver documentation in compliance with school and district policies
  • Engage with a multi-disciplinary team to support student success across curricular and specialized settings
  • Support communication development using evidence-based practice, both in-person and via teletherapy when needed
