Speech Language Pathologist in Fairchild Air Force Base, WA

This school features a diverse and expanding population of nearly 600 students, including three preschool classrooms and two specialized Autism/IDD classrooms that benefit from a collaborative therapeutic approach.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility as an SLP Clinical Fellow (CFY); SLPA candidates with school or healthcare experience are also welcome to apply
- Experience working in school settings preferred; familiarity with teletherapy is a plus
- Demonstrated skills or interest in serving elementary-aged students, including preschoolers and children with autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for a varied caseload, with a focus on the elementary and specialized classrooms
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services both in-person and through teletherapy, as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, SLP colleagues, and support staff to optimize student success and inclusion
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent consultations to support holistic student development
