This full-time position (with part-time options considered) is perfect for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist eager to support young learners. Please note, SLPAs will not be considered for this position.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license required (Illinois state credentials preferred)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in school-based or healthcare SLP settings, particularly with early childhood students
  • Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and therapy techniques for ages birth to five years
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work closely with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Must be able to work onsite; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for early childhood students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s developmental needs
  • Provide direct therapy to students, targeting speech, language, and social communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth and success
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team discussions
