Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure for Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience working in school or healthcare environments, particularly with early childhood populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Must be available for onsite work (remote or teletherapy not offered)
- SLPAs will not be considered for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapeutic services to children in an early childhood setting
- Evaluate, create, and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student growth and achievement
- Maintain timely and accurate records as required by the school and state
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field
