An exciting opportunity awaits Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a contract position in a dynamic educational setting near Round Lake, IL. This onsite, full-time assignment offers the chance to work with K-12 students in a supportive and collaborative environment. Four positions are available, each providing 35 hours per week throughout the upcoming academic year, with new hire orientation scheduled from August 12th to August 14th. As part of this dedicated team, you'll have the ability to make a meaningful impact on students with varying needs.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Current, active Illinois SLP license is required (please provide a screenshot upon application)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois required (screenshot requested)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) welcomed
- Will consider a strong Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering communication growth and supporting special education initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver speech/language therapy to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with special education protocols
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service staff to maximize student growth
- Adapt therapy techniques and materials for diverse caseloads (caseloads and grades to be determined)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in alignment with district guidelines
