Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- SLP-CCC preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
- Experience or interest in working within school-based or special education settings
- Skilled in individualized assessment, treatment, and collaboration with educational teams
- Ability to start with mandatory orientation, August 12-14
- Effective communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Must be able to work onsite exclusively
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a small, focused caseload of 9 K-2 students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide clear, actionable input
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with state and district requirements
- Contribute to a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for students with diverse needs
