Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license (please provide a screenshot verifying current status)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois (verification required)
- Holds (or eligible for) SLP-CCC; strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with K-2nd grade students
- Expertise in supporting special education populations is highly valued
- Must be able to commit to onsite service
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-2 students in a small, focused caseload (9 students)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP plans
- Participate in New Hire Orientation (8/12–8/14) and ongoing team meetings
- Maintain thorough and prompt documentation of student progress
- Deliver evidence-based support for students with diverse communication needs
