This part-time position focuses on providing services to a K-2 caseload of nine students within a specialized educational district. The assignment is onsite only, offering a consistent schedule of 7 hours per week during the 2026-2027 school year, with dates to be confirmed. New hire orientation is scheduled for August 12th through 14th.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current Illinois state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), with eligibility for or possession of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) — candidates must submit a screenshot as verification
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in grades K-2, is advantageous
- Ability to manage and serve a caseload of nine students with diverse needs
- Strong Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply
- Dedication to fostering communication skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based speech and language services to students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and families to meet student goals
- Maintaining thorough documentation of services and progress
- Participating in required orientation and ongoing professional development
- Strictly serving students onsite at the specified location
