Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to schools near Waukegan, IL, and make a significant impact in the lives of K-12 students. Start the school year strong—expected start dates are tentative with New Hire Orientation scheduled from August 12th to August 14th. Working 35 hours per week, you will play a vital role across varied caseloads and grade levels (details to be determined), providing essential speech-language services within a K-12 setting.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required (please provide screenshots of current licenses)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students
  • Verification of licensure can be completed online

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and provide therapy to students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
