School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Palatine, Illinois

A dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a contract, part-time assignment, working with K-2 students in a district known for its commitment to inclusive education. This position is perfect for someone who is inspired by early childhood communication development and enjoys working collaboratively with educators and families.
Role highlights:
- Deliver speech-language services to a small caseload of nine K-2 students, focusing on individualized goals and progress
- Participate in a welcoming orientation scheduled tentatively for August 12-14, with the assignment running through the 2026-2027 school year
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students' IEPs and overall academic success
- Conduct assessments, provide direct therapy, maintain up-to-date documentation, and communicate effectively with families and educators
- Engage with students onsite, building strong relationships and supporting classroom integration
Who you'll work well with:
- Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required (please be ready to provide a screenshot for verification)
- ASHA CCCs preferred, but a strong Clinical Fellow will be considered
- Experience or interest in working with children in a school-based setting
- Enthusiasm for supporting students with diverse learning needs
This is a part-time opportunity, offering approximately 7 hours per week. You’ll provide targeted services in a setting that values both the expertise and the compassion SLPs bring to their roles.
