Working 35 hours per week, you will play a vital role across varied caseloads and grade levels (details to be determined), providing essential speech-language services within a K-12 setting.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required (please provide screenshots of current licenses)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students
- Verification of licensure can be completed online
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and provide therapy to students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
- Participate in professional development and continued education relevant to SLP practices
