Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY supervision eligibility
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP process and familiarity with relevant federal and state regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students with a range of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings
