School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Orinda, California

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows welcome
- Experience or familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress reports
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, ensuring alignment with educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Educate staff and caregivers on techniques to reinforce communication strategies in the classroom and at home
