Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active state SLP license and certification required
- Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged children strongly preferred
- Solid foundation in school-based SLP services, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Dedicated, organized, and adaptable to school schedules and diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention to preschool and elementary students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress according to school and regulatory standards
- Partner closely with educators and staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment
- Communicate proactively with families about student progress and strategies for home support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall development of service plans
