Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license (state licensure required)
- Certification as an SLP (CCC-SLP or CFs considered)
- Background working within school-based settings is highly desirable
- Experience with preschool and elementary populations is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and tailored therapy approaches
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best student outcomes
- Monitor, track, and document student progress clearly and thoroughly
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional guidance for educational planning
