Middle School Licensed School Speech Language Pathologist - Delano, California

Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP license and appropriate certification
- Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and students
- Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate therapy plans
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals focused on communication
- Maintain detailed records and progress notes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in individual and group settings
- Partner with teachers and support staff to integrate communication strategies within the classroom
- Communicate regularly with families about student progress and strategies for home reinforcement
Contract Details:
- Immediate start date, running through May 29, 2026
- Full school days: 7.5 hours daily, Monday through Friday
- Daily schedule: 7:30 am to 3:15 pm
